The DMZ (De-Militarized Zone) port on the SonicWALL XPRS2 allows users on the Internet to access information on public servers, such as Web, E-commerce or E-mail servers, while maintaining the security of the private LAN. Publicly accessible servers on the DMZ are protected against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
